This is the official guide for Dark Tales: Edgar Allan Poe's The Masque of the Red Death Collector's Edition.
Access the journal (A) to review your notes and to use the map.
Activate the camera (B) whenever you enter a new location; that location will then be added to the map.
Select the menu (C) to leave the game, to adjust sound and display mode, and to change the difficulty grade.
You can choose between three grades of difficulty: casual, advanced, and hard mode.
Collected items will be stored in the inventory (D).
Press the hint button (E) whenever you need help.
Access the scale of justice (F) to determine who is guilty at the end of the game.
Hidden-object puzzles will be referred to as HOP throughout this guide.
Put the spheres of guilt (G) onto either side of the scale (green) to determine who is guiltier: the mayor (purple) or the red masque (light blue).
