- Talk to both guards (L).
- Note the harbor entrance (M).
- Note the locked palace gate (N).
- Walk left to the market (O).
- Talk to the blacksmith twice (P).
- Take the STONE STAR (Q).
- Look at the stall; take the SEWING KIT and the WHITE CARROT (R).
- Select the compass, then travel to Midnight Forest.
- Look at the base of the statue; place the STONE STAR in the indentations, then take the W ATER DISK (S).
- Look at the stump, use the SEWING KIT on the mesh, then take the INSECT CAGE (T).
- Walk to the right.
- Talk to both guards (L).

- Walk left to the market (O).

- Take the STONE STAR (Q).
- Look at the stall; take the SEWING KIT and the WHITE CARROT (R).
