- This is the official guide for Rite of Passage: Child of the Forest Collector's Edition.

- Hints are unlimited, but you must wait for the lighthouse to refill (A).

- Your inventory (B) is located in the lower panel: select an item to use it.

-The panel auto-hides: move your mouse down to bring it up.

- You can lock the inventory panel in place with this lock (C).

- Select the parchment to view the map (D).

- Once you restore the AMULET, you can use it to dispel the darkness (E).

- Look in your diary to read the adventure's events and clues (F).

- Hidden-object puzzles are referred to as HOPs in this walkthrough.

- Mini-games and HOPs are sometimes randomized: your solution may vary. Items listed in red or yellow are hidden, or they require addition actions to locate.

- Use the arrows to view the different maps (G).

- Your current location is indicated by red rings (H).

- A white X indicates the location has been complete (I).

- A red X indicates more to do at a location (f).

- Select the compass to view your objectives (K).

- Choose the pen to open the journal (L).

- The scroll will return you to the map from the journal and objectives (M).
